Jesse La Force has built Ardent Angling around one technique and one river. He specializes in centerpin fishing through Northern California, and the Russian is home water: he fishes it end to end, following clean water and chrome steelhead.
Clients call him methodical. He works the seams that hold fish and teaches the drift as the day goes on, which is why a first trip on a float rod is a normal booking rather than a problem.
Away from the river, Jesse is a teaching pastor at Lighthouse Christian Church, where he also serves as River Campus pastor and as Dean of Lighthouse Bible School. He is one of the voices on the Blood and Oil podcast.
